The Meadow Lake Tribal Council in the Technical Services Department, is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the full-time permanent position of a Circuit Rider Trainer. The Circuit Rider Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water treatment facilities within the MLTC communities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Provide technical guidance and support to water treatment facilities within the MLTC geographic area.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations governing water treatment. Assist facilities in maintaining compliance with these regulations, including water quality standards, monitoring, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of water treatment facilities’ infrastructure, equipment, and processes.
- Collect and analyze data related to water treatment processes, water quality, and operational performance.
- Foster positive relationships with water treatment operators, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of site visits, technical recommendations, and training activities.
Qualifications:
- Water resources management, or a related field with three years experience in water treatment operations or related roles.
- Professional certification in water treatment or relevant field is a plus. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
