The Meadow Lake Tribal Council is seeking a compassionate, energetic, motivated individual to fill the C92 Project Coordinator 1 year term position with possibility of extension. Under the direction of the CFS Senior Director, the C92 Project Coordinator’s main responsibilities will be to plan, coordinate and schedule community meetings, focus groups and gatherings. The duties include working closely with the C92 Team and Advisors to complete tasks and schedules.



  • Coordinating community meetings, working with the Community Champions
  • Setting up venues and meeting details including meals and completing travel claims
  • Answering phone calls and emails, and conducting in-person visits
  • Making phone calls and sending emails reminding people of meetings
  • Scheduling appointments, managing calls, and prioritizing
  • Communicating with C92 Team, staff and leadership about appointment availability
  • Managing internal staff schedules and accommodating special requests
  • Resolving scheduling conflicts
  • Performing other duties as assigned




  • Grade 12
  • Relevant Experience & Education may be considered


  • Certificate or Diploma in relevant discipline with knowledge in Child & Family Services
  • Three or more years of supervision and/or management experience, preferably in a First Nations Organization


  • Ability to work independently; proven problem solving and good organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to develop effective working relationships with First Nation staff, administration, community members and external partners
  • Proficiency in computers: i.e., Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Quality reporting and extensive writing skills is an asset
  • Be familiar with and understand First Nation barriers/issues/culture
  • Ability to speak Cree/Dene is considered a valuable asset
  • Willingness to travel when required and possession of a valid driver’s license
