Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation (MSFN) is now accepting applications to fill one (1) full time Primary Care – RNAAP position.
Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation (MSFN) is a growing and thriving community and is increasing its capacity in delivering quality Primary Care Services. The MSFN Nursing Program includes community health, home and primary care nursing. MSFN offer a competitive wage and compensation package. MSFN RNAPPs will work with the health team in advancing primary care programming including Maternal health, Mental Health, Addictions, JP specialty supports, Education and Child and Family Services.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Registered with College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) with RN AAP or NP designation.
• 2 to 3 years of recent emergency and/or acute care nursing experience;
• Basic Life Support (BLS-C), Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are mandatory.
• Relevant experience and certifications in northern nursing and First Nations health care is an asset.
• Must hold a valid class 5 driver’s license.
