MEDICAL TRANSPORTATION DRIVER

Employment Type: Casual Position

Flying Dust First Nation is seeking a highly motivated individual to work within the Community Health & Wellness Division.

 

Duties:

• Transporting patients/clients utilizing company vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
• Able to work flexible hours such as early mornings, evenings and over some holidays.
• Maintain and upkeep medical taxi logbooks and maintenance repair checklists on a routine basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with the public.
• Ability to speak Cree would be a definite asset.

• Must lead a healthy lifestyle
• Knowledge of First Nations culture and values is an asset
• Promote independence, confidentiality, and dignity always
• Work under stressful situations/environment
• Excellent driving record

 

All applicants must possess the following requirements:

• Class 5 drivers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to identify key issues and overcome internal challenges/obstacles
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
• Must be a team player
• Current RCMP Criminal Record Check
• Current SGI Drivers Abstract
